====== 2013.01.07 - word on clang ======

[[wp>clang]] is growing rapidly. about two years ago i was unable to compile and/or run any reasonably C++-featured code with clang++. now it handles all of those test cases smoothly. though [[blog:2012:12:11:1#compilers|it's still not from perfect]], it gains more and more ground. at the end of 2012 [[http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-current/2012-November/037610.html|clang has became official FreeBDS's compiler for x86* architecture]]. that IS noticeable achievement.
