====== 2016-04-05 - firefox is back to debian ======

since 2006 [[wp>debian]] distributed "iceweasel" browser instead of "firefox". change was trivial and pretty much boiled down to... name and logo. after a decade [[wp>Mozilla Foundation|mozilla]] was come to an agreement with [[wp>debian]]'s developers and thus [[http://www.pcworld.com/article/3036509/linux/iceweasel-will-be-renamed-firefox-as-relations-between-debian-and-mozilla-thaw.html|firefox is back to debian]](([[wp>Firefox ESR]] to be precise)).
