2012.03.26 - the Britannica case

did you know that Encyclopedia britannica is no longer going to be published… but only in a paper form! they've decided to switch to an electronic and online versions instead. what a remarkable movement! think about it in terms of what music/movies publishers are doing – just stick to the same form of distribution, that happened to work before “e-boom”. i highly recommend you reading Encyclopedia more modern than Hollywood, discussing this issue. think about it also in terms of ACTA, SOPA, PIPA, etc… got the point?
